Light and colour are the two essential means of expression for her landscape paintings.
By exaggerating the colour and reducing the objectivity to the essential, a visual realismis is created that appears unnatural and familiar at the same time.
She gives the light materiality, through partially impasto paint in order to increase its meaning.
Lampposts, which she likes very much , because they have a simple, recognizable shape and still convey a lot of meaning and romance.
