Nick gentry creates a conversation between digital and analog processes. He mentioned once about floppy disks “By placing them there… it becomes easier to comprehend the speed and extent of changes that are taking place today.” Thus, he often incorporates elements of these materials into his figures and portraits forming collages of mixed media. For instance, the central magnetic circles of 3.5 inch floppy disks may even serve as eyes.
