- “Fraktale” and “Foldings” are the names of Hans Schüle’s most recent works. Like entangled, multi-dimensional frames, they project into the room in relation to the wall or balance on pedestals as if fanned out in unstable equilibrium. Formed from broken, layered surfaces or intertwined stripes, they consistently expand and vary the relationship of volume and silhouette to space.
