Original pair of matched French table lamps, manufactured around 1915 - 1925, at the turn of Art Nouveau to Art Deco. The wrought iron base reveals a nice deep-brown patina and holds a beautiful, handmade Wrought iron base, pâte de verre glass shade which is not signed. The shade contains mostly light and dark purple, as well as some orange pigments. The original French B22 bayonet socket proves the originality of the lamps. They have been newly electrified. Appropriate light bulbs can be obtained in speciality shops. For the buyers convenience, 2 light bulbs are included. Not all lamps of that aera has been signed. Most likely that pair of lamps is attributable to Muller Frères in Luneville, France. They are in perfect condition; no chips or cracks of the glass.
